Dip or salad? Part II
The lettuce acts as sneaky camouflage. Also involved: bacon, mayonnaise, sugar. This blog is not intended to be a gross-out blog. I leave that to sites like this. But sometimes eggs get put in things and I eat them and I have to share it. Thank you, Glen. I think.

Teaser eggs
Just to give you a taste of what’s been going on these past few days:

Fifteen deviled eggs makes 30 halves. Another 19 eggs were used in the course of Julie’s birthday feast.

Polenta Egg
Never had this before: grilled polenta with a kind of ratatouille and steamed broccoli.

I love the way the broccoli looks.

And the rest of it. Mmm!

Yep, it’s an egg.

A kind of a coy egg. But at least it’s not weird.
Apologies for the delays in posting recently. I have some more lined up for the moment, but do please continue to send any of your eggs in.

Weird Eggs
This is some rice and leftover veg, elevated into a dinner by the addition of some fried eggs.
Already they look a bit freaky in the pan:

This one cabbage fed us for 3 meals: [Fact]

The eggs look like they are crying:

These are some weird eggs if you start looking too closely. Anyway, they were pretty good. But weird. Elephant Man eggs.

Guest Egg: Scott and Lucy Do It Again!
They demonstrate fine technique with their olive oil drizzle:

Though they break with tradition in adding tomatoes after the egg:

Yet mavericks that they are, they don’t fail to add a lovely close-up:

Check out those excellent plates. Thank you Scott & Lucy!
PS: BONUS EGG! Part 2 of The Smith’s breakfast eggstravaganza. [OK, one more crappy pun and this blog will self-destruct...]

Man, I miss New York sometimes...
